Ariadne Timing system slalom
Introduction
The Ariadne timing system has its origin in the Slalom events of the Genneper Molen Kayak Club, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The Ariadne timing system consists of timing equipment, cabling, software and manuals. The Ariadne software contains 20 years of experience of things that can go wrong in a slalom event. This has resulted in a robust and flexible system.
The Ariadne software supports all the process steps in conducting a slalom competition. From sending invitations, entry of entries, program scheduling, start lists, processing of starts, finishes and penalties, results and archiving. The figure below gives an overview of the system.
