With the A800 form you can archive the Current competition data. You can archive the data of persons, kayak clubs, categories, the competition, officials, and event results. In the end you determine the ranking scale, which makes the results comparable to other competitions.

1. Archiving person data.

Of persons in the current competition, which are already present in the archive, (because of earlier competitions) the attributes of the archived person record are updated with the attributes of the person record of the current competition.

Persons in the current competition, which are not present in the archive, are added to the archive.

Archiving of persons can be done recurrently.

2. Archiving Kayak club data.

For kayak clubs in the current competition, which are already present in the archive, the attributes of the archived kayak club record are updated with the attributes of the kayak club record of the current competition.

Kayak clubs in the current competition, which are not present in the archive, are added to the archive.

Archiving of kayak clubs can be done recurrently.

3. Archiving Category data.

For categories in the current competition, which are already present in the archive, the attributes of the archived category record are updated with the attributes of the category record of the current competition.

Categories in the current competition, which are not present in the archive, are added to the archive.

Archiving of categories can be done recurrently.

4. Archiving Current competition data.

If the current competition is already present in the archive, the attributes of the archived current competiton are updated with the attributes of the current competition.

If the current competition is not yet present in the archive, it is added to the archive.

The archiving of the current competition attributes can be done recurrently.

5. Archiving Competition results.

Before the competition results can be archived, the archiving steps 1..4 need performed first.

Competition results can only be added to the archive, not updated. Results are only added for categories which have the indicator set 'Archive results' (cf. A060 Category form) and for competing units which have two valid (e.g. 'complete') run results.

Beware: When after you archived the results, you generate the results anew, these results are considered as new results, not yet archived. You can archive these second set of results , but then you have the competition results twice in the archive.

6. Archiving officials.

Officials can only be added to the archive. Archiving of officials can be done recurrently, in which case only officials not yet in the archive for the current competition are added.

7. Setting the ranking scale.

With the ranking scale you can nomalize the current competition results to a value between 0 and 100. (100 being the best result). With the normalized results you can compare the performance of competitors between competitions.The normalized results is also used as the ranking value, with which competitors are ranked in a new competition.

Determine the 100 point of the ranking scale, by selecting the best result from the list, which you get when clicking the button 'Determine the 100-point'. In this list you see the best results per category. Select the best K1-slalom category. (There may be categories which have better results, but which you do not want to use to compare K1-slalom with.)
